Join us to our next  (FREE) innovative networking event celebrating the first Awards in Social Leadership for Women!

OGUNTE Social Leadership Awards CeremonyIn January 2007, a group of women embarked on a journey towards Social Leadership, rewarding their confidence, their ethical entrepreneurship and their networking skills.

They have identified key points social leaders need to demonstrate in order to bring about change. They have sourced skills, talents, and insights within themselves and within their network. They are the advocates, the voices, the flags of the fairer world we want to build.

Join us for a great event and networking opportunity on March 22nd, at the Women Social Leadership Awards, where these women will showcase their new skills and make their social pledge, witnessed by the audience and supported by inspiring speakers from the Social Economy, the Private and Public sectors.

During the event, all participants will have the opportunity to ask their burning questions to the "Oracle".

Confirmed speakers:

- Jane Swift- Deputy Chair of BT Women Executive Network
- Elizabeth Cox, Head of Connected Economies, New Economic Foundation.
- Sofia Bustamante- Creator of The Evolution Lounge-Turn up the Courage.
- Alex Ritchie, Women's Enterprise Campaign, Enterprise Insight.
- Ashleigh Trezise - Festival of Youth Arts
- Rachel Bamber - Results Coaching Systems/ Writer

***This is an event open to men and women!***

This event has been made possible thanks to The Unltd Millenium Awards Scheme, The Guardian, and BT Women Executive Network.

About our previous events, they said:

"It was a good opportunity to meet new people from a different sector than the one I have been used to working in."
Business coach

"Fun and enlightening. I enjoyed meeting a variety of people with different perspectives and quite varied skills."
Marketing and Communication Manager

"It was so well thought out: the little networking tables and the game were a brilliant way for strangers to cut through to the heart. There were so many interesting people to talk to. I'd like another event like that so I can carry on where I left off!
Community Development Worker
